Meet Doug Hemink, Senior Product Manager at Poseidon Systems. Doug has spent the past 8 years in R&D of advanced hydraulic systems and has been building things his whole life.
What would you tell your 13 year old self?
Follow your heart and be passionate about everything you do. Work hard, but also enjoy the little things; memories and friendship are worth more than gold.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet and why?
Leonardo da Vinci. Not for his paintings, but for his scientific curiosity. It would be incredible to discuss his observations and theories relating to the natural world.
What would you do, for a career, if you weren’t doing this?
Coach or teach, I enjoy motivating people.
What about Poseidon Systems excites you the most?
The Poseidon team is extremely knowledgeable about our systems and the applications we are in. I’m excited to be a sponge and also add to our knowledge base, building on my own experience in machine design and analysis.
